Iodine is critical for overall health, especially thyroid health. But the question is, how much should you be getting each day? This is an incredibly contentious topic because everyone seems to have a different opinion. What I'm going to do today is break down iodine dosing in a simple and easy-to-understand way so you understand how much you should be taking to minimize negative outcomes while maximizing positive ones.

This is an incredibly contentious topic because everyone seems to have a different opinion. What I'm going to do today is break down iodine dosing in a simple and easy-to-understand way so you understand how much you should be taking to minimize negative outcomes while maximizing positive ones.
When you look at the RDA for iodine you'll see that the recommended dosing should be between 150 and 270 (~300) mcg per day depending on whether or not you are a lactating woman or a pregnant woman. Those who are lactating or pregnant require more than the average adult because they need to make up for what a developing child needs.
What happens when you don't get enough iodine? You will end up with a goiter and hypothyroidism which is not ideal.
What happens when you get too much? You increase your risk of developing autoimmune thyroid disease like Hashimoto's and Graves' disease.
How can you prevent these conditions? By sticking to the optimal range of 150 to 300mcg per day of total iodine intake.
This number takes into account your total iodine intake from ALL sources so make sure you account for hidden sources of iodine when determining your total intake.
Hidden sources of iodine include beauty products, foods, supplements, and medications.
If your total iodine intake is too high then you may benefit from temporarily reducing your iodine intake to metabolize the extra iodine out of your body.

The more damaged proteins you have, internally and externally, the older you'll look. Damaged proteins can cause a lot of problems throughout the body and can also make you look old.
A big cause of damaged proteins is AGEs (advanced glycation end products). To get rid of AGEs, you need to get your body into a condition called autophagy. Autophagy recycles old damaged proteins to make new ones. This is essential to help you look younger.
The best way to get into autophagy is by doing intermittent fasting. If you're already doing intermittent fasting, you can also try OMAD (one meal a day). If you're experienced with OMAD, you could try dry OMAD.
Additional ways to look younger:
• Get plenty of sun or infrared light
• Support your liver
• Support bile production
• Consume enough fat in your diet
• Consume plenty of vegetables and have them with fat (like olive oil)
• Support your antioxidant networks (by doing exercise and fasting)
• Don't consume sugar or refined carbs
• Stop smoking
• Work hard to counter stress
• Make sure you consume a moderate amount of high-quality protein
• Support your microbiome

Today, I'm going to share the best remedy for dry hands. It's important to keep in mind that everything you put on your skin gets absorbed into the bloodstream and goes to the liver.
You need to make sure everything you put on your skin is safe. Many personal care products and even tap water contain chemicals that deplete vitamins and are harsh to the skin.
There are friendly (non-harmful) microbes that live on your skin, which are essential for your skin and your health. It's vital to have a healthy environment for the microbes on your skin.
Your skin's pH is acidic, and if your pH becomes more alkaline, many different problems can occur. So, it's important to make sure what you put on your skin won't mess with your skin's pH.
It's also important to focus on your diet and what's going on internally with your body to help fix different problems that are happening externally. Lowering your carbs and doing intermittent fasting is a great place to start.
How to fix dry hands:
1. Avoid things that make them dry (like petroleum-based lotions)
2. Put fat-soluble vitamins back into the hands (vitamin A, D, E, and K)
3. Don't continually kill the friendly microbes on your skin without giving them time to replenish
The best home remedy for dry hands:
Ingredients
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. (14g) raw honey (preferably manuka honey)
2 tbsp. (26g) extra virgin olive oil
Mix the ingredients in a bowl and apply the mixture to your hands. Leave the mixture on your hands for 20 minutes, and then wash your hands. It's best to do this two times a week, right before you go to bed.

Today, I'm going to share the best remedy for dry hands. It's important to keep in mind that everything you put on your skin gets absorbed into the bloodstream and goes to the liver.
You need to make sure everything you put on your skin is safe. Many personal care products and even tap water contain chemicals that deplete vitamins and are harsh to the skin.
There are friendly (non-harmful) microbes that live on your skin, which are essential for your skin and your health. It's vital to have a healthy environment for the microbes on your skin.
Your skin's pH is acidic, and if your pH becomes more alkaline, many different problems can occur. So, it's important to make sure what you put on your skin won't mess with your skin's pH.
It's also important to focus on your diet and what's going on internally with your body to help fix different problems that are happening externally. Lowering your carbs and doing intermittent fasting is a great place to start.
How to fix dry hands:
1. Avoid things that make them dry (like petroleum-based lotions)
2. Put fat-soluble vitamins back into the hands (vitamin A, D, E, and K)
3. Don't continually kill the friendly microbes on your skin without giving them time to replenish
The best home remedy for dry hands:
Ingredients
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. (14g) raw honey (preferably manuka honey)
2 tbsp. (26g) extra virgin olive oil
Mix the ingredients in a bowl and apply the mixture to your hands. Leave the mixture on your hands for 20 minutes, and then wash your hands. It's best to do this two times a week, right before you go to bed.

The first underlying cause could b being female. The Cleveland Clinic says skin tags occur more often in women than men, and they often appear at middle age and may be related to weight gain. Other causes can be aging in general, friction which we talked about, genetics, and interestingly certain endocrine and metabolic syndromes, and hormonal imbalances. Common ones are having diabetes and insulin resistance.

Now although they are harmless and as harmless as they might be, skin tags can also be annoying and can snag on your clothing sometimes. Also you may want to remove them for cosmetics reasons too.
How to use apple cider vinegar for skin tags and for skin tag removal
So to start, use organic apple cider vinegar with the mother included, soak it in sterile cotton ball and secure it in place over the skin tag with a bandage for 20 minutes. Even though this is the smelliest option on this list, it still is worth trying as garlic. That is because of the bioactive compound in garlic called allicin. This, sulphurous compound in garlic has been studied for their ability to inhibit cancerous cells and block tumour growth. Which is why it has been used anecdotally as a method to removing skin tags. So to make sure to do this correctly. Simply crush a large clove of garlic with a knife to release the potent oils and keep crushing until it forms a smooth paste. Apply this paste on the tag and secure it with a bandage over the skin tag and leave it on for about an hour. Next thing you wanna do after is: Wash it using mild soap and water.
